The body of the CCM E5.9 Chest uses HD foam throughout giving goalies great impact protection. CCM worked to improve the protection in the ribs extending the wrap further around the body adding coverage where it's needed for plays off the post. A molded HD foam sternum adds a denser layer of protection while also reinforcing an area that commonly breaks down. The chest area uses a combination of HD and LD foams that offer great protection without sacrificing mobility.
